February 14th

In my quarters today, I found a peculiar heart-shaped box with a note.  The message read, "Bret'hen, I think you are very beautiful, and I would like to hang out with you sometime.  Would you take the time to get to know me?"  It was signed by ensign Tobias.  I would like ensign Tobias to know that I consider anything other than a business relationship between crew members to be impractical, and furthermore illogical.  Nor should anyone try to gain my goodwill by leaving a box of the highly poisonous and intoxicating "chocolate" compound in my personal quarters.

Developments

Xander, while working on the plans to create some robotic crew members to replace the old ones who disappeared a few weeks back, I chanced upon an interspatial raft, and I found that most of the crew is trapped inside.  However, I'm not exactly sure if I should let them out.  I rather enjoy working without them, but if you need company to maintian your tenuous grip on sanity, then I can let them out.  Please let me know.

A Hypothesis

Xander, have you considered the possibility that everyone except for us is both invisible and incapable of producing sound?  I realize that for all intents and purposes, they would no longer be there, as someone who is both invisible and incapable of producing sound would be unable to observe anything.  But it is probably more likely that they are all in the cargo bay, and that we are the only ones who didn't get the "memo" as a type of "practical joke" among the rest of the crew.

Where is everyone?

So I woke up this morning from hyposleep and everyone was gone! I searched everywhere on the ship...except the cargo bay... but that's where the mole-rats live...and its dark... you guys! this isn't funny!

Engine Fixed

the item lodged in the engine, respectfully and  ironically, was a pizza cutter. I still trying to figure out how it got there. but for now, the ships engines are back up to stuff, and progress is being made. And thanks to Bret'hen's suggestion, of the dilithium crystals, the engines are running much more smoothly

For Ulrich's Humiliation

You should try putting in some new dilithium crystals; they need replacing once a month.  We have a large supply in the cargo bay.  I should really work on that robotic helper for you, shouldn't I?
